Join Maternity by Kimal at RCOG World Congress 2025

ExCeL London

June 23 2025June 25 2025

RCOG’s flagship meeting is back in the UK capital, and this year’s theme – “Equity in care, innovation in action” – could not be timelier for maternity teams.

Maternity by Kimal will be on Stand D2 showcasing a range of practical product
innovations that amongst other things, help clinicians tackle two persistent
challenges: Postpartum Haemorrhage (PPH) and Obstetric Anal Sphincter
Injuries (OASIs)
.

Why this matters

In England, 1 in 4 births result in PPH, and worldwide, PPH remains one of the
leading causes of maternal morbidity. For OASIs, recent figures suggest that 3.1% of
all vaginal births result in an OASI, though it’s likely this figure is an underestimate.

By focusing on fast haemostatic intervention and objective perineal assessment, we
support clinicians with innovative products to diagnose early, treat with
confidence and advance maternity care for every mother
– all while fitting
seamlessly into existing NHS pathways.

“As faecal incontinence can have a devastating effect on quality of life, we need to first strive towards making missed OASIs a Never Event”
